Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a unique form of psychological support based on regular, confidential sessions with a psychotherapist, which help you better understand yourself and find balance. This process is tailored to your individual needs — depending on your situation, it may involve just a few sessions or last longer (from several months to several years), typically at a pace of one 45-minute session per week, conducted in an atmosphere of safety and acceptance.

With over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, initially rooted in the Gestalt tradition, I currently work in an integrative manner, combining methods grounded in robust scientific evidence. I utilize approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) oraz positive psychologyto support clients in achieving well-being and reaching their full potential.

In couples therapy, I rely on recognized methods such as Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT), ACT, and the research of Prof. John Gottman, helping to build healthy, harmonious relationships. My work is regularly supervised by a certified supervisor from the Polish Psychological Association, which guarantees the highest ethical and professional standards.

Counselling – Support for Everyday Challenges
Counselling, also known as psychological counseling, is a form of support particularly valued in international settings. It focuses on providing guidance through the difficulties of everyday life, supporting personal growth, and improving quality of life. Unlike psychotherapy, which may focus on specific disorders, counseling helps in situations of confusion, stress, or a desire for self-actualization, offering a space for reflection and growth.

I specialize in individual psychotherapy for adults, as well as in couples and relationship therapy (family, friendship, and other relationships), tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each patient.

How to prepare for an online session?
To get the most out of online psychotherapy, it’s important to ensure a comfortable environment. Choose a quiet, private place where you’ll feel safe and at ease for the 45-minute session. Mute your phone, turn off notifications, and make sure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working perfectly. Have some water and a notepad ready so you can focus on the conversation. These simple steps will help you fully engage in the process.

An important tip before we begin
Before deciding to pursue psychotherapy, I encourage you to consult with a doctor to rule out potential somatic causes, such as hormonal imbalances or vitamin deficiencies, which may be affecting your well-being. Tests, such as blood work, can provide valuable insights and help in precisely planning your support.

I am here to accompany you on this journey with empathy and professionalism. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can support you in achieving harmony and a fulfilling life.
