Online psychotherapy is a form of psychological therapy conducted over the internet using video calls. It allows you to work with a psychotherapist without having to leave your home. The Therapeutic Process and its principles are the same as in in-person therapy; the only difference is the method of communication.
Psychotherapy online is particularly well-suited for people who: leading a busy lifestyle with no time for commuting, preferring the comfort of their own home during sessions, living abroad, living in areas with limited access to psychotherapists, having mobility issues or disabilities, or fearing the stigma associated with visiting a therapist’s office.
We can address most psychological issuesonline, including: depression and low mood, anxiety and panic attacks, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, stress-related issues, trauma and difficult life experiences, as well as personal and professional crises. However, there are situations that require in-person contact, such as life- or health-threatening conditions or acute psychotic crises. In such cases, I will refer you to appropriate inpatient facilities and specialists.
Yes. Scientific research confirms that online psychotherapy can be just as effective as traditional psychotherapy for most psychological issues. The key elements of therapy—the therapeutic relationship, consistency, and the methods used—remain the same. For some people, online therapy can even be more effective because they feel more comfortable in their own environment.
Before the consultation, think about and write down your goals and expectations. Also, make a note of any important questions you have for me. This will allow us to make the most of our time together and help reduce your stress, which is completely normal in this situation.
Help yourself feel more comfortable during the session: find a quiet, private place where no one will disturb you; check your internet connection; have a headset ready for better sound quality; make sure the lighting is good so I can see you clearly; have a glass of water and tissues handy; turn off notifications on your phone and computer; log in 5 minutes before the session to resolve any technical issues.
You will need: a computer, laptop, or tablet (I don’t recommend using a phone because of the smaller screen); a stable internet connection; a webcam; a microphone (built-in or external); headphones (for better sound quality and more privacy); an up-to-date web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or the latest version of the Microsoft Teams app (some corporate accounts block connections, so create a free personal account).
First, try refreshing the page or rejoining the call. If that doesn’t help, please contact me by phoneto discuss next steps. In the event of more serious issues, the session can be completed over the phone or rescheduled for a later date. Time lost due to technical issues on my end will be refunded; time lost due to issues on your end will be deducted from the session time.

Both consultations and psychotherapy sessions last 45 minutes.
Sessions are ideally held once a week. This regularity ensures continuity in the therapeutic process and yields the best results. In some cases, we may agree on a different frequency (e.g., twice a week in crisis situations or every two weeks in later stages of therapy).
During the first consultation: we’ll get to know each other and discuss the terms of our collaboration; I’ll ask you why you’re seeking help and what your expectations are; we’ll briefly discuss the history of your issue and your previous experiences with psychological/psychiatric help; we’ll establish preliminary therapy goals; you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapeutic process; and we’ll decide together on how to proceed.
The price for a 45-minute consultation or individual session is 400 PLN; sessions for couples also last 45 minutes and cost 450 PLN. The first consultation session costs the same as a regular session.
I accept BLIK, PayPal, and traditional bank transfers. Payment for a consultation or session must be received at least 1 hour before it begins.
Unfortunately, the NFZ does not currently cover the psychotherapy I provide.
Yes, safety and confidentiality are my top priorities. I use an encrypted connection that complies with GDPR standards. Sessions are not recorded or archived. I am bound by professional confidentiality. Your personal data is protected in accordance with applicable laws. During the supervision process, I disclose only the necessary information that can help enhance the effectiveness of your therapeutic process. This information does not allow for your identification.
The duration of psychotherapy depends on the nature of the problem and the goals. Short-term therapy (6–15 sessions) is used for specific, isolated issues. Medium-term therapy (several months) is used for more complex difficulties. Long-term therapy (a year or longer) is used for deeper personality issues, relationship patterns, and trauma.
The pace of change varies greatly from person to person and depends on: the nature and severity of your issues, your commitment to therapy, your completion of homework assignments between sessions, and your openness to change. The first noticeable changes usually appear after 4–12 sessions, though many people feel relief and hope as early as the first consultation.
If you feel that therapy isn’t producing the expected results, please talk openly with me about it. This gives me valuable feedback. We can then work together to adjust our goals or methods. In some cases, I may recommend a psychiatric consultation and possibly medication as a supplement to therapy.
Yes. Your psychotherapy will proceed more quickly and effectively if: you participate in sessions regularly and with commitment; between sessions, you complete the experiments and homework assignments I suggest; you purchase and work with handbooks that support your personal growth, such as: "W pułapce myśli", "Umysł ponad nastrojem", "Program zmiany sposobu życia".
